Micro Finance, (or how to knock out poverty)
February 22nd, 2009Tonight Gary Waters from IntegrityCare will be joining us to let us know what he does in the area of micro finance. He travels the world looking for credible churches and people who could change destiny for people if only they had some money. He then ensures that the money is lent - on a businesslike basis, and that people build businesses. They can then employ others, and break the grip of poverty on those around them. In the process, God has opened doors that include an African nation that asked him to train thousands of demobilising soldiers so they would become an asset to their country rather than a problem.
